Texas Labor and Employment Litigators Leave Cantey Hanger to Form New Fort Worth Law Firm, Dowell Pham Harrison LLP
Fort Worth –Dowell Pham Harrison LLP is excited to announce the opening of their new law firm in Fort Worth, Texas. The six attorney firm is comprised of attorneys from Cantey Hanger, one of the oldest and most respected firms in Ft. Worth. The new firm will focus on labor, employment and litigation. Attorneys of the firm have dedicated their practice to helping employers and employees in all aspects of what can be, quite frankly, a complex business relationship. “We saw an opportunity to create a streamlined, focused firm that would be versatile enough to handle almost all types of civil litigation, while keeping our core practice centered on labor and employment,” said Brad Dowell, one of three founding partners.
Brad Dowell has practiced law in Texas for twenty-seven years and has tried and arbitrated cases involving alleged violation of collective bargaining agreements, breach of distribution agreements, wrongful termination, alleged employment discrimination and retaliation, as well as numerous personal injury matters (ranging from slip and fall cases to alleged negligent security).
“With the launch of DPH, we are bringing the largest labor and employment boutique to Fort Worth. We are here to provide sound legal representation to businesses and to give them the tools they need to solve complicated employment issues,” said Caroline Harrison, another founding partner of the firm. Harrison is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law. She represents employers in disputes with former employees, and guides them through the sometimes confusing arena of employment law. Her practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling. She also acts as General Counsel for area businesses and non-profit organizations.
The third founding partner, Lu Pham, has spent the last twenty-five years representing clients in employment and business litigation matters throughout the United States. He serves as national coordinating counsel for various foreign manufacturers/importers on all litigation matters throughout the U.S. On the concentration on this type of firm practice, Pham says, “We are not a full service firm, and are not trying to be one. We focus on a few areas and do it really well.”
Most of the attorneys of DPH have worked together since they first began practicing, and share a depth of knowledge, collaboration and experience that allows them to put the highest priority on serving the needs of clients. Other attorneys joining the firm include Antonio Allen, Jennifer Bley Sweeny and Lauren McDonald.
